With over 30 years experience in the hospitality industry, Jerry Soh joined Lanson Place in 1996 as Manager to open the Singapore property. He was then promoted to General Manager for its Singapore and Malaysia serviced residences.

In his current capacity, he oversees all aspects of managing the residences including the P & L, operational and sales & marketing efforts. Jerry’s background in hospitality includes both local and international hotel groups, including Inter-Continental, Le Meridien, Sheraton and Mandarin Oriental.

Having started in the industry as a waiter and bellboy, Jerry rose quickly through the ranks of reception and secured senior positions of Night Manager, Assistant Manager and Chef Concierge in several top hotels in Singapore from 1980 till 1996. His area of specialisation remains Front Office, Guest and Customer Relations.

He is the first Singaporean to be accepted as a member of Les Clefs d’Or in 1982 and is the Founder of Les Clefs d’Or Singapore in 1986.

 

He was also the Area Director Asia for Les Clefs d’Or International for several years until 1996 and was awarded International Honorary Member of ‘Union Internationale Des Concierges d’Hotels’ Les Clefs d’Or in 1999.

 

Jerry is also a thought leader in the hospitality industry and organises and conducts regular seminars for the hospitality industry both in Singapore and other countries in the region. Les Clefs d’Or remains closest to his heart and continues to be involved in its activities.
